M.E. Baz
Born in Los Angeles, M.E. Baz received a BA in American Literature and Culture from UCLA. Some favorite comics include: The Watchmen, V For Vendetta, League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, 300, Transmetropolitan, The Authority, Stormwatch, Brooklyn Dreams, and Queen and Country.

Some favorite writers and artists include: Alan Moore, Warren Ellis, Grant Morrison, Greg Rucka, Tim Sale, Frank Miller, Moebius, Enki Bilal, Dave Gibbons, and Bill Sienkiewicz.

M.E. Baz is currently writing Monkey No. 1  and The Man In Black  (premiering soon).


Robert Santos
Writer Robert Santos has a BA in Film & Electronic Arts from Long Beach State University. His artistic inspirations include: Bob Dylan, Neil Young, Sonic Youth, Yo La Tengo, George Orwell, Stanley Kubrick, Alan Moore, Frank Miller, and T.S. Eliot.

He is currently working on Words and Guitars, his upcoming title for Eye for an Eye Comics. The series will premiere in 2009. He is also currently editing Monkey No. 1.


Matias Basla
Argentina-based artist Matias Basla has previously worked as a penciler on Styx & Stone from Bluewater Comics. He is currently the artist on Monkey No. 1. You can check out more of his work at matiasbasla.blogspot.com.


Steve Black
Steve Black lives and works in Mill Valley, California. He earned a BFA at Columbus College of Art & Design. His influences include: Tim O'Brien, Gottfried Helnwein, Shawn Barber, Norman Rockwell, Chuck Close, Jean-Leon Gerome and his friend, John Jude Palencar.

His work has been seen in the following publications: IDW, Ape Entertainment, Digital Webbing Presents, Ferret Press, and Old School Comics. He is currently the artist on The Man In Black  for Eye for an Eye Comics. You can check out more of Steve's artwork at crowntriple.livejournal.com.
